ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN/CONSTRUCTION COMPLETED: 1988/1990
We had to work with a plot of a thousand square meters on a light slope
that had four centenary cork trees. We decided to save the existing trees
thus adapting the design around them.
The primary objective of this 150 sq. mt. design was to be cost-efficient.
The single-storey design was on separate levels. We created a large
back-porch open to extensive views and oriented towards the mid-day sun,
around which the house was built. The house itself was shaded by the tops
of the trees
